ziba Spa Fractional RF Microneedling

Fractional Rf Microneedling Face And Body Treatment

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that stimulates your blood circulation. It’s typically done to improve the appearance of scars and increase collagen production.
The procedure involves penetration of insulated microneedles into the dermis to deliver high-tensioned radiofrequency pulse into the targeted tissue. This results in the body’s own production of elastin and collagen fibers, making skin firmer and healthier.
Fractional RF microneedling machine combines RF with the microneedling, so the RF heat is not on the outside layer of the skin, it penetrates much deeper, leaving the top skin layer cool.

The microneedles are driven directly into the skin at a certain depth, and radiofrequency energy is then released inside of the skin. This gives a more uniformed deep tissue warming that will then stimulate the collagen and new collagen fibers are produced.
The 25- pin handpiece is the invasive one with vacuum function for face lifting, 49-pin handpiece one is the invasive one for body lifting or stretch marks removal, 49- pin handpiece is the noninvasive one for skin rejuvenation.
The face is numbed for 40 minutes before starting. The whole face would take approximately 20-30 minutes to do depending on the area and pain threshold. Immediately after the procedure, the face is warm, red and swollen. After 4 days the needle marks will disappear, and your face will start to feel tighter and more lifted.
After a few treatments you will see a noticeable difference, it will help both with wrinkles, skin tightening, rejuvenation, reduce pore size etc.
The combination of microneedles and radiofrequency leads to a more substantial improvement in skin quality and texture. This combination also allows the procedure to treat a variety of concerns such as skin tightening and brightening, pore size reduction and stretch marks. It is also effective in scar treatment such as deep acne scars, ice pick scars, atrophic scars, burn and operation scars.
Something that isn’t often discussed is the aftercare necessary after the procedure. Microneedling actually punctures your skin, so you need to take steps to protect your skin barrier as it heals.

How It Works

Direct RF emission on the target tissue by Fractional RF thermolysis (Thermal damage by segmented RF Emission)
Effective delivery of valid ingredients through the expansion of intercellular route during this treatment.

What To Expect
After you have a microneedling procedure, some side effects are to be expected. When you leave your appointment, your skin may be flushed or bright red, as if you have spent the entire day out in the sun and have a mild to moderate sunburn.
The redness and swelling will most likely persist for 24 hours or slightly longer. Even with careful aftercare, there isn’t much you can do to get rid of the redness immediately after microneedling.
Covering up the redness with makeup is one of the worst things you can do, as the makeup will block the pores on your newly exposed skin and might even cause breakouts or infection. You’ll need to have some patience as the redness subsides, but in the meantime, you can apply gentle, unscented products with natural ingredients to get some relief.
Swelling and some skin peeling are all considered to be within the realm of normal up to 48 hours after the procedure. Other side effects, like bumps, breakouts, and dry skin, are also within the scope of what you may experience after microneedling, but not everyone will experience them.
Taking care of your skin with moisturizer and gentle cleansers can make your side effects as minimal as possible.

Microneedling After Care
1. CLEAN – Use a gentle cleanser and tepid water to cleanse the face for 72 hours post-treatment, and gently dry the treated skin. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area, and do not use a Clarisonic or other powered cleansing brushes for at least one week after your treatment.
2. HEAL – We recommend serum antioxidants post-treatment, as its properties are ideal to help heal the skin by soothing and lessening irritation.
3. HYDRATE – Following your Fraction RF microneedling treatment, your skin may feel drier than normal. Hyaluronic Acid serum is an ideal ingredient you can use to hydrate and restore the skin back to perfect balance.
4. STIMULATE – In the days following your Fraction RF microneedling treatment, and as the skin starts to regenerate, collagen-stimulating peptides are ideal to maximize the effects of the stimulation already started by the microneedling.
5. MAKEUP – We recommend you do not apply makeup for 24 to 72 hours after the procedure. In addition, do not apply any makeup with a makeup brush, especially if the brush is not clean.
6. PROTECT – Immediately after the procedure, your skin professional will apply a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB, SPF 25 or greater sunscreen to your skin. We recommend a chemical-free sunscreen. Keep in mind that you should continue to use a sunscreen everyday—not only the days following your procedure—as part of your skincare routine to protect your skin from sun damage and premature aging.

Additional Microneedling Aftercare Precautions
The following are the minimum precautions required. Each individual reaction is different and might need more aftercare precautions
• To ensure the proper healing environment, do NOT use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C (in a low pH formula) scrubs or anything perceived as “active” skincare for one-week post treatment.
• Do not use any powered cleansing brushes like Clarisonic for one-week post treatment.
• Avoid intentional and direct sunlight for 72 hours.
• No tanning beds.
• Always wear sunscreen.
• Do not go swimming for at least 72 hours post-treatment.
• Do not exercise or participate in strenuous activity for the first 72 hours post-treatment. Sweating and gym environments in general are harmful and filled with bacteria, which may cause adverse reactions in your skin.
• If it is needed use any topical antibiotic cream to avoid infection.

Microneedling is not recommended for the following:
Most anyone can have the procedure performed as long as they do not have any active infections, lesions, or any known wound healing problems. “If you have active acne, or tender acne cysts, do not microneedle over those areas. It will irritate the area, make them more inflamed and potentially spread bacteria.

Combining chemical peels and microneedling
Combining chemical peels and microneedling enhances your skin inside and out. We recommend that you have a chemical peel first to exfoliate the top layers of your skin. Then, 4-6 weeks later, you start your microneedling treatments to boost collagen production in the deeper layers of your skin.

Avoid these before microneedling
Avoid Aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications (i.e. Ibuprofen, Aleve), blood thinners, herbal supplements, Vitamin E, and Fish Oil for at least one week prior to and the day of microneedling to minimize bruising risk- you may restart these the day following your treatment.

Microneedling In A Nutshell
Controlled skin injuries produced by microneedling send the skin into a repair mode that triggers the body to produce new collagen as well as elastin, providing our skin with plumpness and resilience. Importantly, it isn't just the microneedling that brings all this goodness. How we treat our skin in the period following microneedling has perhaps more impact on our outcomes than the microneedling itself!!
• For better results, we recommend you take a package. This will give you better, and more visible results, that last much longer than a single treatment.
